Female victims (66%) are slightly more frequently trafficked within their region of origin, while interregional trafficking is minimally more common among male victims (35%) as compared to females (34%).
Adult victims are about six per cent (32%) more likely to be trafficked outside their region of origin compared to children (26%). Meanwhile, 74 per cent of child victims and 68 per cent of adult victims are trafficked within their region of origin.
